 The 2008 - 16th Great Lakes International Checkers Conference ended March 10th, 2008

 

CLOUD TOPS Intl. BIG-BOARD CHECKERS LEAGUE
 
  Vern Cloud, of Buchanan, Mich., won first place in Tournament no.16 of the Great Lakes International Checkers Conference (GLICC) which ended Mar. 10, 2008.  Cloud won 7 and drew 1 for 15 points.  Roger Blaine, Mishawaka, Ind., was second at 14, and Neil Wenberg, Harmony, Pa., placed third with 12.  The tournaments are played on the Internet website ItsYourTurn.com.  Players are from 6 different states of the U.S. and 1 province of Canada.
